Market Wrap: Stocks, Bonds, Commodities<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The dollar hit a four-week high on Wednesday, ahead of a highly anticipated inflation report that is likely to influence the timing of the first rate cut by the U.S. Federal Reserve, while the euro was pressured by political uncertainty in the European Union.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 120.62 points to 38,747.42, the S&P 500 gain 0.27% to 5,375.32 and the Nasdaq Composite ascend 151.32 points to 17,343.84.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

MSCI\u2019s index of Asia-Pacific stocks outside Japan is below 0.37% to 687.60 levels. The Australian index was lower by 0.51% to 7,715.50. Japanese Nikkei Index decrease 0.60% today.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

European stocks were positive on Wednesday, with the Stoxx Europe 50 Index increase 1.95% to 4,990.45, Germany’s DAX\u00a0 ascend 0.56% to 4,990.45, and France’s CAC higher 0.42% to 7,821.76 and\u00a0 U.K.’s FTSE 100 gain 0.71% to 8,205.07.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury rose as demand for safe assets slipped again, today 10-year bond yields decrease 0.05% to 4.4010.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Oil prices rose in Asian trade on Wednesday, extending gains after industry data showed U.S. inventories shrank more than expected in the past week.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Spot Brent crude oil up 0.78% to $82.56 per barrel. US West Texas Intermediate crude is up 0.94% to $78.67 a barrel.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The yellow metal gold is increase 0.18% to 2,330.95 dollars per ounce.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The U.S. dollar retreated Tuesday, falling back from a one-month high, as yields fell back ahead of key U.S. inflation data and the latest Federal Reserve meeting.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Today, the U.S. dollar index measures the Greenback against a trade-weighted basket of six major currencies, which descend 0.38% to 104.795.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Euro US Dollar (EUR\/USD) is a widely traded pair that is increase 0.09% today. This left the pair trading around $1.07490.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Japanese yen was positive against the U.S. dollar on Wednesday. Today USD\/JPY is trades pair that increases 0.15% to the 157.300 level.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Another commodity-related currency mixed against the U.S dollar, AUD\/USD slipped 0.11% to 0.66170 , and NZD\/USD ascend 0.08% to 0.61450 level.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
